ehmkay nails: Zoya Abundance Spring 2022

Press Sample
Hi everyone! I have the Zoya Spring Abundance Collection today. I actually wore these for a nail art a while back and you know how I am. I love to see how a collection looks together first and then I usually get around to swatching. So let’s take a look at this six piece collection that includes five creams and one super fun shimmer.
Gwen: 2 coats plus top coat. Muted tea rose pink nail polish. I wore this as a base to nail art that I’ll be sharing later on. I love that it’s a light pink but that it has full coverage in two coats. It does pull out some of the yellow undertones in my skin but I don’t mind.
Kit: 2 coats plus top coat. Calming old rose cream nail polish. I actually really love this color and I feel like calming is a perfect description for it. I can totally see myself turning to this color when I just don’t know what I want to wear. It’s just really soft and muted.
Lena: 3 coats plus top coat. Mid-toned wisteria purple cream nail polish. Little patchy at two. Dried matte because of neon undertones. Although this is not a color I reach for, I feel like the neon undertones just make it something I will reach for in the summer. I can’t wait to put this on my toes. It’s just a really perfect purple polish with the perfect amount of blue undertones.
Ellis: 1-2 coats. Dark rich cerise cream nail polish. I have ridges but it would be just one coat. I bet this stamps. Stains. This polish is what it is and it has a great formula and can be one coat. Not much more to say on it. I feel like we’ve seen it before.
Tyler: 1 coat plus top coat. Deep indigo blue cream nail polish. This one also stained a bit. It did come off, but I have some peeling nails and parts of the blue stuck on it. I’m always polished though, so it is okay. I do think this will stamp. I’m not sure that this screams spring nail polish to me and again I feel like we may have seen this color or something similar to it before but it’s a nice blue.
Elsa: 3 coats plus top coat. Iridescent cool-toned blue with a purple magical shift with
densely-packed rainbow glitter nail polish. Use on its own or as a
topper. This is a fun color with lots of dimension and shift. I also swatch this over Tyler but found that it looked pretty much the same as it does on its own. In fact, I prefer this on its own. The shift purple is really obvious in person but hides a bit from my camera. I love the addition of the little glitters in here. It’s sort of a mermaid nail polish to me. Enjoy way too many photos in different lighting.
