Lizzo’s Nails at the Met Gala Are Intricate, Molded and Gilded – Nail Design

Many of the couture looks at the once-a-year Met Gala were completed by beautiful, bespoke manicures.  

On recording artist, Lizzo, celebrity nail artist Eri Ishizu created a twisted, black and gold, two-inch manicure using OPI who rocked her nails while playing the flute on the red carpet.

NAILS Breakdown

STEP 1: Start by prepping the nails and shaping extensions into a swirl tip with a file.

STEP 2: Apply a coat of OPI GelColor Stay Classic Base Coat. 

STEP 3: Apply two coats of OPI GelColor in “Black Onyx.”

STEP 4: Apply OPI Chrome Effect in “Gold Digger” onto the tips of the nails.
